Sources: Texans, Ryans Agree To Deal
The Texans have agreed to a six-year, $48 million contract with Pro Bowl linebacker DeMeco Ryans, according to sources.
The pact makes Ryans one of the highest-paid linebackers in the game and locks him up through the 2015 season.
The deal includes $21.75 million guaranteed and $26.3 million in the first three years of the contract, according to sources.
Chargers, Vasher Agree To Two-Year Deal
The Chargers signed cornerback Nathan Vasher to a two-year contract on Monday.
Vasher is a five-year veteran, having spent all his previous seasons with the Bears.
"In Nathan Vasher, we're adding a proven NFL player with experience in the league," said general manager A.J. Smith. "Having played in Chicago under Chargers Defensive Coordinator Ron Rivera (2004-06) and Secondary Coach Steve Wilks (2006-08) is an added bonus."
49ers Re-Sign Barry Sims
The 49ers have re-signed offensive lineman Barry Sims to a one-year contract.
The contract is worth up to $2.1 million with incentives, according to a league source.
Sims is an 11-year NFL veteran who spent the past two seasons with San Francisco.

Free agent safety Sean Jones has agreed to a two-year contract with the Buccaneers.
Jones played for Philadelphia last season after spending the first five years of his career with the Browns.

The source said the deal includes $3.25M guaranteed, and with incentives, would max out at $18.25M.
Anderson would compete with current quarterback Matt Leinart for the starting job.

The Eagles and restricted free-agent running back Mike Bell have reached an agreement on an offer sheet, according to a source.
The source claims the one-year deal is worth $1.7 million, with $500,000 of that guaranteed and incentives that could increase the value to over $2 million.
New Orleans will have seven days to match the offer.
Fraley Agrees To Terms With Rams
Free-agent center Hank Fraley has cancelled a scheduled visit with the Chiefs and agreed to terms on a deal with the Rams.
Fraley, 32, was cut earlier this offseason by the Browns.

Agent Neil Cornrich said the deal will allow Tauscher, who went to the University of Wisconsin, to play his entire football career in his home state.
"He's ecstatic," Cornrich said. "Mark's very grateful that Ted Thompson, Russ Ball and Coach [Mike] McCarthy have worked so diligently to provide him an opportunity to return to the Green Bay Packers."
